This site sets two cookies, both from Google Analytics, and neither of them until you press Accept. Decline and nothing is stored and nothing is loaded. Every cookie is listed below by name, with what it does and how long it lasts.
Two cookies, and only if you say yes
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits. It is the only thing here that stores anything in your browser, it does not run until you press Accept on the banner, and declining costs you nothing — every page works identically either way.
Until you choose, nothing is requested from Google at all. Not the script, not a pixel, not a single connection. That is worth stating plainly because most banners appear after the tracking has already started.

If you decline, none of the first two are ever created. The third one is written either way, because it is what stops us asking again — and writing one word to remember "no" is the only way to honour the "no".
What Google gets, and what it does not
Which pages you opened and in what order, roughly where you are from, and what kind of device and browser you used. Your IP address is shortened before it is stored, so it does not identify your connection.
What it does not get: your name, your email, your message, or anything else you type into the contact form. That form does not touch Google — it goes straight to us. The two never meet.
Changing your mind
Clear this site's data in your browser and the banner comes back on your next visit, as if you had never answered. In most browsers that is under Settings, then Privacy, then site data — search for this domain.
There is no account to log into and no list to be removed from, because we never had one.
What we gave up, and what we gained
This page used to say that the site set no cookies at all, and that was true for as long as it was written. It changed when we turned analytics on, and the page changed in the same commit rather than weeks later — which is the part that usually goes wrong.
What we gained is knowing which work people actually look at. What we gave up is the ability to say "none at all", which was a cleaner sentence than this one.
The typefaces used to be an exception
Until recently this site loaded its two typefaces from Google's font servers. That set no cookie, but it did mean every visitor's IP address reached Google before the first letter appeared on screen, and before anyone had agreed to anything. A German court ruled in 2022 that doing exactly that broke the GDPR.
So we stopped. The fonts are now files on our own server. Loading any page of this site now contacts no other company unless you accepted analytics.
What still happens if you click something
Links are links. If you open our Instagram, Facebook or LinkedIn, or tap a WhatsApp button, you land on someone else's service and their cookies and their rules apply from that moment. Nothing from them is embedded here — no like buttons, no share widgets, no embedded feeds — so none of it runs until you choose to go there.
Sending the contact form passes your message through a form service. It sets no cookie in your browser, but it does receive what you typed. That is covered in full on the privacy page.
